Before the first practice
- Ask the coach what the team provides
- Gear is labeled with her name
- Glove has been thrown and caught a few times
- Water bottle packed
- Hair up and out of her eyes
- Know where and when practice is
- Learn a few softball words
Between games
- A short practice game at home
- A few flash cards together
- Gear dry and back in her bag
Questions for the coach
- What is the practice and game schedule?
- What does she need to bring?
- What happens when it rains?
- Where should parents watch from?
- How can parents help?
- Will players rotate through positions?
